Do I need a medical card to shop at Planet 420?

No! Planet 420 is a recreational dispensary. You only need to be 21 years of age or older with a valid government-issued ID. We do also welcome medical patients, who may be eligible for additional discounts.

What forms of ID do you accept?

We accept any valid, government-issued photo ID including: Driver's License, State ID, Passport, or Military ID. The ID must show your date of birth and must not be expired. We are required by law to verify age for every customer, every visit.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and CanPay (a debit-based payment app). We have an ATM on-site for your convenience. Like most dispensaries, we're unable to process traditional credit cards due to federal banking regulations.

What's the difference between Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid?

Traditionally, Indica strains are associated with relaxing, body-heavy effects — great for sleep or unwinding. Sativas are known for more uplifting, cerebral effects — often preferred for daytime use or creativity. Hybrids fall somewhere in between, offering a blend of both. Our budtenders can help you find the right strain for your goals.

How much cannabis can I legally purchase in one visit?

Under Michigan law, recreational customers may purchase up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower (or equivalent) per transaction. This includes flower, concentrates, edibles, and other products, all converted to their flower-equivalent weight. Medical patients have different limits — ask your budtender for details.

Is it safe to drive after consuming cannabis?

No. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal in Michigan and is extremely dangerous. Please arrange a designated driver, use a rideshare service, or wait until you are fully sober before operating a vehicle. Planet 420 is committed to responsible consumption.

Do you offer discounts for veterans, seniors, or low-income patients?

Yes! We offer discounts for veterans, seniors (65+), and qualifying patients. Please bring valid documentation (military ID, proof of age, or medical card) and ask a budtender about current discount programs. We believe quality cannabis should be accessible to everyone.

Can I consume cannabis on the premises or in my car?

No. Michigan law prohibits consumption on dispensary premises and in vehicles. Cannabis may only be consumed on private property. Please be respectful of others in public spaces.
